You are warmly invited to participate in this year’s Rise Against Hunger packing event taking place on Saturday, November 7th, here at St. Matthew’s! 

8:30AM – set up

10AM – meal packing

~12:30PM – clean up 

  • Registration is required using the link below.
  • There will be roles for all ability levels: seated jobs like sealing and placing stickers, as well as standing jobs or carrying heavy bags of food into the church.
  • Refreshments will be provided

OUR GOAL

Packing 20,000 meals that will be sent to hungry people around the world. It takes at least 60 volunteers to achieve this goal, and it costs $8,400.

WHAT YOU CAN DO TO HELP

There are several ways you can help: 

  1. Save the date now: Saturday, November 7, 2026.
  2. Plan to Register as a volunteer. Registration is required! There you’ll be able to select whether you can help set up, pack, clean up, or all three. 
  3. Tell your friends about this event and encourage them to participate in this fun, energetic, life-giving service opportunity.
  4. Donations to this effort can be made through the registration link.
