We got notified the morning of December 1st by LSSNCA that they have identified a family for us to assist. It is a family of 2 (husband and wife) who live in an apartment in Alexandria and need a home setup consisting of some furniture and maybe kitchen supplies. The furniture items needed are:
- queen bed with mattress
- A set of furniture ( a sofa and love seat)
- A dinning table for 3 people
If you have any of these furniture items, please contact Rob Mouw at Jararmouw@aol.com. I will check further on the kitchen supplies and see if these have already been donated. This seems to be a great first family for us to support. We expect that more opportunities will be coming in the future.
